We haven't yet re-talked about Thomas Simoes, more known under the nickname of "Metastaz", since this interview (only in French) made by DjO, one year ago...
For those haven't follow his story, he's a young artist from the area of St-Etienne, who is doing computer music, and who is doing it very well ! Indeed dub computer music are most of the time made without any flavor or any personnality, Metastaz got away from the masses by his orginality and mostly by his talent.

40 years old for Trojan Records

A label aged of 40 years is not so common and it's the case of the famous Trojan Records. We can congratulate then for such a huge quantity of unforgettable records and year of existence. A story which will not stop tomorow and which started in the late 60's, in 1967 exactely : To celebrate that a dance will take plac from midnight to 6a.m. thursday 17th of may at Le Triptyque in Paris, the Trojan Sound System will be escort by the selectas Earl Gateshead and Daddy Ad, with MC Superfour and Chuckie Banton.
