Just coming to life again and still fullfilled & gratefull I attended this event, inner dub light warming, maybe you get what I mean..._
Maximum thanx going to Rick and the Epplehaus Crew not just organising and working the whole weekend, but also taking care for every attendee personally. We really felt at home from the familiar vibe in the Epplehaus. Hannes, Sarah, Basti, Rino, Bo, Ecki and all the other helping hands did a fantastic service. Sorry, if i forgot to name everyone, but there´s simply so many people giving a hand, can´t remember all the names...really a great vibration in that house.
Welcome to Jah Billah, Roots Ista Posse, Bandulu Dub, Dub Creator with Lyrical Benjie, No Set Sound System, Mr Xiang from China, Jesse Dubmatix and Rob Alphadub to the gatherers family. Great you managed to attend and add your own sound to the mixture of this congress...
From my personal point of view, Dub history has been written with the sets of Rob & Billah playing together,especialy in that moment when the Bandulu Dub was dropped-really a new generation of dubbers coming up strong! New technics been shown, woe, what Billah did with the CD player-indiscribable with words...
Dub history was written with Dubmatix, Bandulu & Roots Ista Posse doing their killa set in the basement, not just collaborating, they were creating tunes and dubs that won´t be heard nowhere else again. The whole session was on "sientist meets prince Jammy" level, monuments of 21st century dub were meeting in the Epplehaus in musical togetherness.
The spiritual highlight set by Dubcreator & Lyrical Benjie´s show,presenting Dub in the highest quality level with unbelieveable amount of lyrical wisdom & knowledge, the basement became really a dub church at that night. Glad I witnessed all those occasions... gratefull I am for that!
Our own Droegenbwoys crew did turn up ten heads strong, which also filled my heart with joy… Good to see old friends and discussing old plans : Rach and Bob, sorry, tried to wake you, but no chance, John, allways a pleasure sharing views,vibes and sound with you, Tim, bredda, lets make the thing real….Samson, you made our set a set with your playing, thanx so much for being a member of our band, thanx for being our friend._Cheers to all vocalists on the allstars set : Sara, Basti, Stefan and the tall bredda, who sang the last one-LARGE UP, as you all are quality performers!
